Any news about a potential merge soon ? |
|
Hi all, any updates? |
|
@Technetium1, do you know anyone else who has write access? The merge is currently blocked. Thanks for your time! |
|
I have unfortunately been very busy, and nodiscc is the only other with write access as far as I am aware. I'm sure it will be reviewed when possible. |
Thanks for your feedback 😉 |

Please provide answers to the questions in the pull request template
I replied to the questions in the PR template. As you will see, there are only three maintainers behind. I hope this will be fine. I got involved at the beginning, discovered the project, and started helping. With Assunia, a new contributor, we created a GitHub organization named Portabase to host the repositories, so I also updated the repository link in the README. Thank you for your time |
Thank you for taking the time to work on a PR for Awesome-Sysadmin!
To ensure your PR is dealt with swiftly please check the following:
DemoandClientsare optional.Do not add a duplicate
Source codelink if it is the same as the main link.Keep the short description under 80 characters and use sentence case
for it, even if the project's webpage or readme uses another capitalisation.
Demolinks should only be used for interactive demos, i.e. not video demonstrations.- [Name](http://homepage/) - Short description, under 250 characters, sentence case. ([Demo](http://url.to/demo), [Source Code](http://url.of/source/code), [Clients](https://url.to/list/of/related/clients-or-apps)) `License` `Language`Languagetag is the main server-side requirement for the software. Don't include frameworks or specific dialects.Suggested titles: "Add aaa to bbb" for adding software aaa to section bbb,
"Remove aaa from bbb" for removing, "Fix license for aaa", etc.
Please take some time to answer the following questions as best you can:
Portabase is awesome compared to other backup software due to its headless agent, designed to be secure.
I have been following the project since the beginning and have been using it in a production environment for three months.
Not directly personal, but I have been involved in the project.
Actually, I manage more than 6 organizations with 7 production databases, and over 977 backups have passed through the self-hosted platform.
Pros:
Cons:
Still in beta but under active development. The team has started developing the community, but there are some difficulties. That is why I am applying here.
Any other comments about your use case, things you've found excellent, limitations you've encountered... ?
